im pretty sure they are breaking from that storyline according to Bay. Unicron wont make an appearance until the 3rd movie based on what he said.

This movie will be leading into all that, as far as The Fallen finally making an apperance (Unicrons main henchmen). I would expect at the end of this one, megatron to make an appearance setting it up for the final movie
