Eh, fair enough. I just almost wish they'd go back and redo the original stories with the new graphics/gameplay. I just thought the cool factor was much higher back when it was a smaller scale. I'm about to go read up on the storyline of the games.

Edit: So I read over some plot outlines, and yeah, not feeling the 4th or the 5th game. From what I read it's not even dealing with the t/g-virus anymore. The game needs to get back to it's storyline roots.

Technically it is still dealing with the T and G virus. It's a mutated strain that is being distrubuted on the black market. After Resident Evil 3, Umbrella was disbanded and the virus got out. Tri-Cell (from RE: Degeneration) has been in the works creating an antidote for the virus, and that's their main role in the game. Go watch Degeneration before you play the game and you'll understand it a bit better. RE4 is the only game that didn't really have zombies in it, but it did still have the virus in the game.

dammit, you can't run while you shoot? that sucks; if only they made it as flexible as metal gear is. i personally think it'd be fun with the 2player option.
