    Default streetlight manifesto

Hemingway never seemed to mind the banalities of a normal life
and I find, it gets harder every time
So he aimed the shotgun into the blue
Placed his face in between the two
    and sighed, "Here's To Life!"

anyone else into the 4th wave of ska?

I like them a lot actually.

Haven't been keeping up with them a lot though recently.

they're coming here in january with reel big fish. their first CD was an amazing breath of fresh air in a stale genre, and was groundbreaking but their followup was pretty weak.

I could care less about waves. Ska is ska is ska. If anything the fourth wave is a mixup of hardcore breakdowns in ska. Stuff like the Flaming Tsunamis or even somewhat Big D and the Kids Table. Streetlight rocks it like it was the late 90s again and Catch 22 was the original lineup, thats what I love and hate about them.

If I had to say what the best ska album of the last 2 yrs was it would be the Falcon's Unicornography. Not ska by any means but they keep the fun loving bouncy pop and sing along snappy choruses characterized by ska bands.
