HOLY FUCKING SHIT! valve has done it again... by far best shooter i've played this year. amazing very fluid game play much like CS, TFS, etc

You are a survivor and you have to get out of the city before the infected zombies kick your ass... you can play campaign, co op, vs mode, ... online play you can be either survivor/zombies. awesome concept with great execution:

I play it on the PC and it's pretty dam hard to beat the game on expert. I think I played with ct9agsr for like 3 hrs last night and we could not beat the last stage but none the less it's awesome and I would recommend this game as well just wish they had more vs's lvs can always hope for patches

I need to pick it up, i just got done beating gears of war2 on co-op. That game is freaking hard to.

A.I. is brutal - its hard to beat zombies that are always running after your ass....

put it this way:

- shine a light on them and they come running
- bump into a car; alarm goes off they come running
- special zombies are bad ass
- set them on fire and they still keep fighting...

only thing i can relate this too is like watching 28 WEEKS LATER in the opening scene where he is running from the farm house to lake to get in the boat to escape... thats basically premise of the game and how it plays.

I played the demo and i wasnt too impressed. i hope the actual game is better. the zombies all look the same; same clothes etc. It just got a little repetitive in the demo. Getting attacked by the same shit over and over. Good concept tho

At one point one of them looked down from a building and I said "Holy Shit!!, there's a football team running at you!!"

Shit was bad ass how the zombies don't just mosey around and actually kick your ass and full out sprint

I went and rented the game because of this thread and was not dissapointed. The game is awsome. The zombie AI is what realy made this game for me.I thought it would be another Resident Evil clone but it realy is so much more.Like Admin said the zombies act like the ones off 28 weeks later and they can catch you off guard at times if your not on your toes.

glad you liked it - don't ever count VALVE out w/ games under their belt like Counter Strike, Team Fortress, Half-Life, etc they know what they are doing.

Valve always has new maps coming, hell if you have this game for PC go to www.fpsbanana.com and they will have custom maps made from people who don't work with valve that make shit on there own and make it look a lot better, they even make skins for your characters/weapons to enhance the look of the game.

fpsbanana already has a bunch of skins for this game like different looking zombies weapons and characters. I have the Hulk for the tank

The LAN gameplay with this game is ALOT of fun but I could do with the split-screen. Something about it threw me off. Fun game though for sure.
