    Question Compressing movies?

    Do you guys know any Free softwares to use to Compress video files?

    I am backing up DvDs with Dvd Decrypter to my external Hard drive but the files I end up with (.vob) are way too big: 5 to 7 Gb.

    Dvd Shrink to the main video only then Divx it and the quality should still be good and be a 799mb file. Bluray rips will end up around 1.4 gb per file. The file will be in Avi.
