    looks pretty good. Seems a little confusing from the trailer then again I haven't beaten halo 3 yet so that might be why i'm a little lost; anybody got any insight as to what exactly is going on?

    Not exactly, but I do know you're not playing as the Master Chief. And I think it occurs sometime during the timeline of the other games.

    Your playing as a ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) kinda like a Marine. ODST don't have the super abilities as Spartans (Master Chief) according to the the book. So a lot of things are still in the air and how its going to work for example health, sheilds, jumping (no more 30 ft super jumps), fall damage. That stuff may change.

    But back on track, I do believe this game is suppose to take place around the same time as Halo 2, just on a different planet. (not 100% so don't take my word. just going off what I've been reading)

    There is a lot of info on xbox.com and bungie.net. Just be careful believing everything you read on the forums there are alot of retards on there just rambling about sh!t they dont know about.
