    it is an excellent movie - you should read the big it is different and has a language of its own... i heard newer versions of the book have a dictionary w/ it. this is totally a movie i could see someone trying to redo. if anyone does i hope it is rob zombie.

    funny games is another movie along the same lines - but i think it is a little water downed.

    I dunno. I was half asleep when I saw it and from what I remember, I didnt like it at all. I'll give it another chance, but Im not gonna rent it. Someone will have to let me borrow it...

    its definetly a movie that if you are not paying attention b/c its in its own language you will be lost in a heartbeat. The first time i saw it i was like WTF! You Definetly have to watch it more then once to catche everything.

    Definitely in my top 10

    the book is better because it has an alternate ending that better suits the bitter sweet end of Alex, the humble narrator

    you should read the book then watch the movie because you'll understand what all the Russian slang means
