Frankly, all the characters are good if you know how to use them. I never liked Maxi because he spends too much time swinging his nun chaku and not enough time doing damage. I think the only really "cheap" character, though, is Ivy, because she can do damage at short, medium and long range.
As for you, LeX, I'll take you any time.
Darth Vader is an exclusive character on the PS3 version and Yoda is for the 360 and the apprenctice from that new Star Wars game is gonna be in both cant wait to use Yoda though........

Just got it!!!! It's awesome! Taki isn't quite as good as she was in SCII, but she's still awesome and of course Kilik is still his old badass self. There's this character, Apprentice, that you have to fight in story mode and he's hard as F*CK! He has a light saber and he can use the force and he's wicked quick and his moves are all really powerful.
Ok, back to the game!

Same! I'm in love with my character, I just have to figure out a better fighting style/special skill setups for her.
I've got it for the 360 only because the online play will probably be the best out of the systems.
Soul Caliber isn't a very entertaining game, imo. Sure it's fun for the first time. But the level of combat between the two isn't intense enough. I personally like Tekken better than Soul Caliber. I played IV over a friends house for a few minutes the other night and I gotta say, I was not impressed. But to each his own.
In special versus im ranked 70 somethin havent played in a few days though.......
Vader is the sh*t on PS3. His final storymode movie was pretty cool with the force choke.
I've been completely absorbed in the character creator. So far I've made a male ninja, a female ninja (best so far), and my girlfriend made a female warrior.
I completely DID NOT forsee the custom character actually get a movie upgrade in the story mode. Play storymode with your custom character and the game actually upscales them to movie quality for the final scene. It was freakin' bad@ss for sure.
The Tower of Lost Souls is getting tough too. lol
The game is okay, Tho they could work some few flaws/short come. First time I played it the game, it was fun, but after awhile you get bored of it especially when you go online! you have to continously press the search button until you are able to link with another player to play with.
The people on there do the same moves over and over again. You can not have a rematch game. The buttons/moves you press are sometime delay. The single player mode is short and story plot suck. If they can fix these problems then I'm confiedent more people would play it longer.
On the brighter note the grahpic is great! The body movment is very detailed. The background is bright and somewhat realistic. The things you can customer is quite funny and impressive, but I would rather play Tekkan then this game. I like yoda and taki tho!!!
i'll would give the game 6 1/2 out of 10. That is my .02.
Honda are popular for a reason. There might be faster car out there, but none as consistent.

the game is fun, and funner with real people than online.... which is great because i miss playing 1v1, and they needed a good solid fighting game!

You are incorrect. Katsutoshi Sasaki, the director for the Soul Calibur series, said in a recent interview that there are no plans to have the Star Wars characters to be available on their opposing system. The images and video you saw were from the in-development stages of the game and not final production. They are exclusive to their respective consoles and they're going to stay that way.read what i posted sister!

It is a fighting game. It comes from a very famous and well known series. The original Soulcalibur, for the Dreamcast, was the best selling Dreamcast game, and is commonly rated as one of the top 10 best games ever. Actually, Souledge was the first, but that was for Arcade/PSX.

Oh, I agree. I'd like to play with Yoda as well.
I wonder though, if they introduce Vader on the 360, will they also give you the Apprentice's extended ending that he has on the PS3?
i played with yoda... and played against.. he really isnt that great.. hes fancy and neat... but as far as a playable character...no way. hes really small and its kind of annoying fighting him especially online.
