serously doubt/hope it isnt the real c3, cause 8/13 tracks or whatever are just well produced new beats but RECYCLED LYRICS from mixtapes he already has done, only really 4/5 new songs the rest are recycled, just great production on new beats

I've had it for well over a week now. I've listened (really listened) to it thoroughly, twice and...I JUST DON'T GET IT! Damn near every song sounds like he's freestyling and after a line or two, he struggles to come up with something else. I feel if you're going to boast about not writing your lyrics, you shouldn't sound like you don't write your lyrics. I thought some of the songs were well produced & Wayne did put together some pretty witty lines but, on a whole, I just don't understand the hype around this guy & this project.
he said in a couple of those songs that he dont write nemore cuz it takes too much time...so...to me...almost sounds the same, i can tell a difference, but his metaphors are still there...theres still alot of metaphors i'm trying to decipher right now..but n*gga is nice

Im downloading it now. Lyrically i think its better than carter 1/2, but I like the beats and flow of carter 2 better. Carter 3 has a bunch of slow songs mixed in with faster kind of songs and to me it throws off the flow a little, carter 2 was just so smooth song to song. Definately a great cd though.
