    Default Need an antivirus program

    My friends computer is ****ed up from too much porn and trojan virus even though he tries to hide it. And what does he do, call his asian friend to fix it.

    I installed a hacked 2007 norton but it doesn't work, i think norton discovered and fixed the hack through live updates.

    Alright I need a free antivirus program, I remenber there was a really good one that was absolutely free but google gives me nothing but free trial crap.

    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    ad-aware 2007, AVG anti-virus free ed, spybot-search & destroy. i heard using all 3 together is probably the best thing to do. you can download all 3 at download.com

    i have avast and love it because it has a boot scan where the computer is scanned before windows fully loads

    forget all the free shiet..with free shiet; theres always a catch to it. Just spend about 40-50 bucks and get you something worthwhile instead of downloadn illegal shiet. Norton 360 is the way to go and if people think it takes up too much shiett, I guess there comps need a upgrade.

    Note: It's surprising how only a few thousand people in the world Download illegal shiet.

    its not illegal if the company who makes the program also offers the program for free,

    besides, why spend $50 when i can save $50,

    avast sounds interesting i'll try that also

    The only illegal download even mentioned in this thread was the hacked version of Norton the OP had. Everything else is free, and from my experience AVG works great
