I listen to some pretty out there, and typically hard to find music and I can usually find pretty much everything on soulseek.

if you got bittorrent, go register at www.heavytorrents.org and you can get discographies at a time. But, the people that own and run the site are in Spain so it's all in spanish. You can "drunken sailor" it though and figure out where the stuff is at.

    Indie is far from metal.

Supporting the metal scene would be easier if the good stuff wasn't on a limited press of ~500 copies in Northern Europe. And good luck finding the metal album you want in stock at your run of the mill cd shop (unless it's Dimmu Borgir or Cradle of Filth). I took me 3 hours of combing the Virgin Megastore in Orlando to find my copy of Limbonic Art - Moon In The Scorpio. Even still, I paid 35 bucks for that.

The same goes for Jungle and Trance. If you mention "vinyl" or "analog audio" in your average music store, you get blank, confused stares.

i could barely find good dloads, i had to leave my comp on all night to get one album lol

Like I said, between the two I can normally find anything obscure. Mininova is better for movies.

goldesel.to has good p2p links for metal bands and euro music but the site is in german and has lots of porn popups.
