go with a LCD, i was in a theater room today with the top of the line sony projector, klipch 7.1 suround sound, (the dual speaker each speaker, model) and triple subs, WOW it sounded and looked great.. but that system was upwards of 20-25 g's if your on a budget dont settle for a cheap projector, jsut get a LCD for now and save yoru cash
