Just pointing out this same type of cruelty is carried on a much bigger scale in totally legit way ever day. Since dog fighting pisses so many ppl off that much that they wish Vick should lose his freedom and career for 10 years, then these same people should also fight the meat industry the same way.

ACtually, you are dead wrong and stupid if you think that killing cows for food is the same as fighting dogs until they are either dead or almost dead, then killing the almost dead ones. Also if you think slaughtering cows is the same as hooking electrodes to a dogs nuts and frying him or hanging him because he won't fight then you my friend, are a fool.

I do agree with you to a point. But here in america there are inhumane things done to animals legally. like in bull riding and other things. Do you remember two weeks ago, the story about the foxes, we haven't heard anything else about it since. But we are in america where Vick can get 23 months for killing dogs, but your cocaine pusher can get a slap on the wrist.

Are you talking about a slaughter house? If so, that's totally different. We EAT what they kill there. It is a necessary evil, unless you're a canibal. The cows HAVE TO die BEFORE we could eat them, right? Just what part of the dog that loses a dog fight do YOU put on your plate? The only similarities between a slaughter house and a dog fighting ring is that there is death in both. That's it. One is for the benefit and consumption of the general public, while the other benefits noone but the winning dog owner. Not even in the same ballpark, my friend. Not even remotely close.

Everyone of his "supporters" wants to minimize what he did to justify his actions. Not one single one of you can ERASE what he did, can you? So all you're really doing is trying to justify someone doing something wrong because of WHO he is or what COLOR his skin is. How ridiculous and racist is that? When the "supporters" stop justifying what he did and start focusing on what he NEEDS to do, then you will have forward progress. It's illegal to hunt endangered animals. Just like dogfighting, and I'm sure everyone here that agrees in Mike Vick's sentence would be happy to see someone get punished for killing an endangered species.
