    Default Ps3 wont turn on help

    dont know what the hell happan to it i was playing it yesterday and today when i try to turn it on it wont power up at all no ligth nothing just wondering if any one knew what to do in this situation

    make sure its plugged in?

    make sure the switch in the back is on?

    make sure your power strip is plugged in?

    make sure the switch on your power strip is turned on?

    Did you try a different outlet, just by a random chance the outlet went out.

    yeah one time i turned on my ps3 heard a huge spark / crackle.

    then my ps3 wouldnt turn on mannnn i was fukkin pissssssed

    then noticed my tv was off as my receiver, etc etc. i was soo pissed at first didnt even see. my surge protector blew up. got a new one everything was fine. man that was scary

    yea i know its a $500 sytem thats why im scraed now because its been a little over a year when sony came out with the 60gig ps3 and i bougth mine in july and i dont have the recipt

    hell no its probably just some little prob, call sony and see what they can do, or if they can tell you what it might be. if not you can probably even just have a normal electronics guy look at it and tell you whats wrong and fix it yourself. if it came down to just needing to re-solding or replacing something on the board ide give a shot and if i couldnt fix it or afford to have someone else fix it, then sell it
