XBOX 360 Live (NAT)

ok ive tried everything i can find online about getting my NAT to be open, but it still stays strict. i know this is a HUGE long shot, but does anyone have any ideas on how to get my NAT open to the xbox i have tried port forwarding but it didnt work, any help would be greatly appreciated.

it might have to do with your routor or the modem. call your isp and tell them your problem. they'll be able to fix it for you.

on my router which is belken all you do is open the router menu with internet explorer by typing http://192.168.2.1/ in the adress bar. When it come up you go to dmz on the left then type the ip of the xbox into it and it will be open which means unprotected from hacking and such, thats usually why its strict or moderate by defult

also dont waiste your time calling xbox or bellsouth or comcast theyll just keep telling you to call the next person

isn't there an option on the xbox to set the nat to open???

theres no option its all in the router, my friend had this problem then showed it to me when i got xbox

what am i thinking of then??? there is an area for network connections on the x box set up...

nat is the last item shown on the list when you connect to xbox live, you can still play with it not set to open but not with people on your friends list for some reason, then all you do is unprotect the ip of the xbox on your router
