    Anybody know a good shareware program like that to use without much trouble?

    limewire pro... I have used it for the past year or so and havent had any problems. Pretty fast dl for me.

    Bitcomet is another one, it's pretty much like bearshare. It's a bit more work than limewire, but you can download whole CD's.
