Amazing cd... it just came out today and to say the least, it's incredible. They just seem to keep getting better and better. Go pic it up if that type of music is your thing.

fair enough... at least you decided to check it out, right? It's a different sound, but still they have their original sound implimented. Apparently they want to be out of the metalcore scene though, so it'll be interesting later on to see what they sound like.

EDIT: I gotta spread some rep before hitting you back up... I'll get ya later though

sorry, I'm one to promote the band and actually pay if I like it... my fault...

I rarely download music unless it's like one or two songs that I like off a cd of 13.

well i used to be like that but i'm constantly on my laptop so i just have rip music b/c it is much easier to handle... even when i'm at home 50+gb of music on my file server is way better then having to search through records, tapes, cds, etc.

talk about thread hijack... back on topic: LISTEN TO THE CD. yep...

oh, and admin, only recently did I start buying cds again... unless it's a band I really like and really want to promote, I'll download (like I said, only a few select songs). Then again, I only recently started getting back into the music scene... if you want the cd, I'll give you a copy... and yes, it will be through download. lol

metal is metal, metalcore is a mixture of hardcore and metal (ex. old atreyu, old still remains, shai hulud, old 18visions, new death by stereo, underminded, etc...)

I guess they had to show off their new backup vocalist... but still, it sounds like they're putting even more into their music... I like it.

“"Collectively we've all pushed ourselves, and we're all doing things that we weren't even capable of doing on the last record. And on top of just experimenting and trying different things, I think we just wrote some pretty sick jams, so I'm happy with it. That's all I can say. For kids who like our band and think they know what to expect from us, it might throw them off a little bit . . . I encourage anybody who likes our band to approach this album with an open mind."„
