hold l2, and use the left analog stick I believe. I'm still learning myself so the CRAZY bends you see on youtube are still a bit out of my range. I think that a lot of it may have to do with camera angle though til you get used to how the bending works. I can usually send at least one corner kick home a game using barca(with ronaldhino of course

Left stick works best for me, try adding angle RIGHT when your foot strikes the ball. Probably doesn't help but meh, helps ronaldhino lol. By that you should know I play with FC Barcelona
I play on PS2, got it on pc, but 360 controller works like shit

Arsenal and Barcelona FTMFW!!! Why, well b/c Arsenal has the speed and Henry is fucking unstoppable. But since Henry is part of Barcelona now, it's a no brainer who's gonna be my team for 08. Barcelona is gonna unstoppable with Henry and Eto upfront and Ronaldhino and Messi in the middle
BTW, the way I bend the ball is if I take a shot, for example, to the upper right corner and i'm on the left, I hold the left joystick to the right of course b/c it's the direction the ball is going, and hold the right joystick to the left, to give it the curve, and vice versa. Try it, it's really effective
O and i'll move my left joystick with the ball too as it's in the air to kind of direct it. I dunno if it has any real affect while the ball is in the air but it sure as hell makes me feel like it does
FUCK GRAN TURISMO EAST!! NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE, ESPECIALLY NOT FOR AN ALIGNMENT!! TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!
