    Default for u computer knowitalls

i wasnt to sure where to post this, so mods feel free to move it.

everytime i want to watch a video or something online, it tells me that i either have JavaScipt turned off or i dont have the latest flash player installed. i know its not cuz of me not havin an up-to-date version of flash player cuz ive downloaded it 5 times. so how would i go about turnin JavaScipt on or off?
i kno IA is a car forum mostly, but this has a real big effect on my online entertainment. any help is appreciated and will be repped.
