his albums sucks. and he hasnt got much support from the already shitty ruff ryders. but his battle skills dont.
I think hes 1-Either bootlegging his own shit 2 - or want some big time producers to feel pitty for him and offer him a deal w/ the write up on XXL

NAS =G.O.A.T....
his catalouge of unreleased songs>>>>>>>any other rappers career...
Papoose is just as ill... The man doesnt have 1 album out yet.. but he already dropped 8 fucking mixtapes...
He is the next big thing to blow.. mark my words..
He talks about real shit.. that is exactly why i doubt he could battle anyone in the industry...Originally Posted by Sledlude

got any links to this papoose fellow? i cant find much if anything on from him on irc/bt.
em is great but i think kiss, cassidy, skillz, would ive him a run. nas is one of the greatest of all time it is hard to see there is one mc who is the greatest because there are too many different styles.
LIL WYTE is the SHIT!

No. Not any old rapper. But as someone else said, there's too many different styles of rap for Nas to be the best. He's certainly not the best at "crunk." He's certainly not the best at West Coast flavor. He may be a GOAT for his style of rap. I don't know. I don't listen to him. My point is the fact that if he can be successful at all styles of hiphop, then he can named GOAT. Later, QD.
well his label released lps alone make him a top 5 artist...
so when i factor in all his unreleased classic shit it bumps him to the #1 spot on my list....
however, most people would argue that he isnt GOAT....
hes always comes with some ill ass metaphors... which i think is important in any freestyleOriginally Posted by NzProjeKt

2nd childhood is the joint. personally i believe thats the most slept on nas song.
I don't mean I never have listened to him. I've just never got into his style as with any of the other rappers from the North. So, yes, my opinion does have something. Again, if I could hear his versatility, I might change my opinion, if he was good at it. Everything I have ever heard basically sounds the same. I'm not trying to bash your man, I just think a GOAT should be a GOAT of all rap styles. I actually don't think there is a GOAT of all rap styles. Here is a breakdown of my GOAT's:
West Coast = Ice Cube, WC, 2Pac
Down South = Goodie Mob, Outkast
Up North = Nas, Biggie
Later, QD.
Take out WC, Goodie Mob and Biggie and you have a good list.

Lolol, Julio. I only put Goodie Mob and Biggie because I figgered that's what everyone else would say. WC goes waaay back for the West Coast, though. I like his delivery, his style, and his words. He is well respected on the WC. But thanks for the compliments. Later, QD.
Quik you got a good list mane. WC is the lick- "lets make a deal" is what Im listenin to right now, LOL![]()

Overrated. His flow was awful but his words were deep. A better example of a artist/poet than a rapper.Originally Posted by thinkfast

c'mon and this is coming from a eminem fan hahahahahahaOriginally Posted by Julio
I do agree on Pac. I've never really liked him, but I knew his words spoke something. Just really didn't care to listen to the monotony. It seems, to me anyway, all his songs sounded the same. Like it was one long ass song. ooops, I mean his delivery, not his beats. Not saying he sucked. Later, QD.
Agree x 2. I cant get into pac at all either. People always go listen to this song, listen to that one, but i just cant get into it. And the whole pac is alive conspiracy crap is just dumb imo.
Pac wasnt all that on the mic.. but you gotta respect the man if not for his music then atleast for his movement... I liked the fact that he could spit some gangsta shit like gangsta party & california love and then turn around and hit us with unconditional love & changes.... Furthermore, he was a pretty good actor...
Not many other rappers at the time would have been able to carry the role of Bishop in the movie Juice like Pac did...
Biggie's rhymes were always vivid and he made you feel like you were right there witnessing first hand what he was rhyming about.... Although, Biggie too was way over rated... Bottom Line: Biggie was way more lyrical and the better artist.... BUT ON SOME REAL TALK: PAC RIPPED BIG WHEN THEY WERE BEEFING
