Pac wasnt all that on the mic.. but you gotta respect the man if not for his music then atleast for his movement... I liked the fact that he could spit some gangsta shit like gangsta party & california love and then turn around and hit us with unconditional love & changes.... Furthermore, he was a pretty good actor...
Not many other rappers at the time would have been able to carry the role of Bishop in the movie Juice like Pac did...

Biggie's rhymes were always vivid and he made you feel like you were right there witnessing first hand what he was rhyming about.... Although, Biggie too was way over rated... Bottom Line: Biggie was way more lyrical and the better artist.... BUT ON SOME REAL TALK: PAC RIPPED BIG WHEN THEY WERE BEEFING

I think the comspiracy is cool ,though as to how it all is played out. Not saying true or whatever, but a really good story line. Later, QD.

damn straight, and Pac ripped the mic up, without a doubt. I watched him perform at house of Blues out in LA, one of his last few shows... "hit 'em up" he fuckin lit the place up. never had that feling in any other concert/performance. a person that reminds me of him a lot is Game, not w/ lyrical content at all, but in the delivery and onstage presence. 'Pac sounded the same onstage as he did on the CD. Game is the same way.

I was a 2pac fan until he got on deathrow then he started putting out mtv shit. do not get me worng ambitionz, hit em up, hail mary i loved the beats. me against the world was one of the greatest rap albums of all time. 2pac acting skills came from his highschool days when he went to a school for performing arts with jada pinkett-smith. so acting was always in his blood or atleast in his heart.

biggie is considered one of the greatest because he brought the east coast back which in my opinion is bullshit. he put ny on the map in terms of mtv rotation and sales. but there was wutang, tribe, nas, redman, das efx, gangstar, who were all holding the eastcoast down. mtv just wasn't feeling them at the time until biggie came along.

comparing pac and big is like comparing jay-z and nas both incredible rappers just different lyrical content. biggie you put on at a house party, pac you put on when you were in the car and you needed to think some shit through.

as far as the g.o.a.t. i would have to say it is between Rakim and Krs-1.

I agree but Puffy and Biggie were damn near one in the same. the westcoast never had hiphop they just had more rotation on mtv and more record sales than eastcoast artist until big came along(excluding rundmc, beastie boys, coolj) i think people were shocked ny his first album and it became an instant classic just like illmatic did.

You're kidding right? The WC has never been repped by East Coast MTV. I remember watching Yo! MTV Raps from the day it aired first, to the day it aired last. It was all EC, barely any WC. BET and MTV both show mucho amore to EC artists. Later, QD.

^^^ Lolol. I feel ya on that. When MTV Raps first came out, it was nothing but Rakim and Eric B., EPMD, BDP, Kool Moe Dee, and all them. Don't get me wrong cause I still listen to the shit of those characters, but it was rare to catch an NWA or King Tee track on video. Later, QD>

I'm not mad, just wondering what the basis of your comment was. Just because some people didn't mention the folks that you think are the best. Maybe they don't agree with you so they didn't put their names up. Doesn't mean they don't know. Later, QD.
