Please. It will be a long while before anyone passes the G.O.A.T. Jerry Rice.
Rookie of the Year/Pro Bowler!!!
Lions are better team with the CJ/Roy Williams combo.
He's really not that good.
He going to get injured.
Lions are still sorry as hell with him!
He's not going to do much this year.
Backs are going to get torched by him
NFL >>> CJ "Welcome to the Pros" LOL
He's going to held back (as if Reggie Balls was still he's QB)
Will set records as a rookie wr

Reggie Ball over threw the ball, under threw the ball, threw the ball to the left and right of him, but he manage Wr of the year. That tells you something right there.................. thats he's a special player![]()
Just youtube him!
yall gotta be kidding me? ive been following calvin johnson all of his college career, and that man is amazing. anyone who has anything different to say better be jerry rice or some shit, cause nobody else can talk. and even then it's only a matter of time...
I thought in highschool, he was good, then college he got even better, who knows he may step it up again. He should have played baseball, he was better at that believe it or not.
I wouldn't say Ball was the worst QB. He has the talent, he just fucks up a bit. Needs more focus and training. When he's on, he's on. Reminds me of Vick in a way. Except Ball can throw. More. Now don't get me wrong, he isn't near the best, but he has potential. Later, QD.Originally Posted by bigdare23
Yeah your right, I was just caught up in the moment. Reggie did pretty decent for most of this past season until the Clemson game. After that game we get win some more games, but he wasnt on it like he was at the beginning of the season.Originally Posted by quickdodgeŽ

UHH Yea!! I think he will have one hell of a season, Great Athlete, but even better Person.
bc TO is on the randy moss plan, couple more yrs of fucking around in the league and he'll retire to working out in his driveway fulltimeOriginally Posted by B

CJ is that great if his health is as good as jerry's he will break his record at 6'5 240 there is not a CB in the league to match up to him. throw the ball in his direction and he will go get it. No offense to jerry rice or anything but the game is alot faster now then it was when he was in his prime.

Jerry Rice's records will stand for a long time.

That may be, but as of right now he is a rookie. Look at Vernon Davis coming out of last year's draft. He was the best TE PROSPECT in the history of the NFL draft. He didn't do too hot his rookie season. This is not to say that he will never be great, but you can't just hand him the title.Originally Posted by Codeman1407

To break Jerry Rice's records he would have to be injury free for about 15 years. Not going to happen.

THAT is the greatest of all time. Please tell me you people are not tr ying to give a rookie the title before the start of his first season?
The total TDs may not last very long, but the rest will.
The most consistant reciever since Jerry Rice has been Marvin Harrison. With 11 full seasons in the NFL, Harrison is still 527 receptions behind Rice. He is also 9,198 yards behind Rice. He has 122 TDs.
LaDainian Tomlinson has the best chance to break the total TD record. He is at 100 TDs in just 6 seasons. He would have to stay healthy for the next 4 years to do it.
The defense of the greatest wide reciever in NFL history rests, your honor.

Whoever doubts Calvin Johnson hasn't been to a Georgia tech game and actually seen him play.

It's true Calvin was shut down by paul oliver and a couple other CBs from UGA. Every WR or any other football player has good day's and bad day's. I know cause ive been there b4. Will he be good in the pro's? Not much can be said, well cuz he hasnt even been through his 1st NFL 2-a-days. Personally, i think if he stay's consistent and learns the ropes, he will have a very bright future in the NFL.Originally Posted by Tracer
