    um theres a difference between fighting among players and some punk bitch running up into the stands and hitting a fan

    no, I meant fighting between players in the NBA. even when that happens, it's supposedly bc of thuggish behavior that the NBA needs to fix with changing its image

    the whole image thing comes from things they do off the court as well

    but it mainly stems from the artest fight

    i saw a thing on espn2 today about them talkin about this subject. the only sport close to basketball in the "thug" concept is football, but it seems more acceptable because they are in a more physical sport, based on hitting
