Cliffnotes: Go to a website that has TORRENTS (Torrentspy is a good one, esp for beginners, bc it has notes to say wether its a bad torrent or not) THen you get a program like UTorrent. Then you get WinRAR program.. Now..

You get the torrent from the website, open the file(download button), Utorrent pops up, its downloads and does it business, then if the file icon looks like a stack of books its a .Rar or .Tar, you right click select extract files, and Presto!
Torrents are a lil different in the fact you get several peices of the file from different sources and they get placed together while you are DL'n it into the Utorrent (or w/e program). There are seeders (ppl who have the file) and Leechers (ppl DL'n the program). Since you upload and download at the same times for best results maximize both speeds. If you want complete DVDRip Movies go to Torrentspy and type in AXXO in the search bar, he is one of the mostly trusted Torrent guys in the business, and has flawless DVDRIPs, and you don't have to extract his. For music, you can look at smaller websites, bc they usually have the newest ones. One of my favorites for music, is Torrentazos. They show tiles of the newest torrents they get right on their main page, I get full CDs like normally atleast 2 weeks in advance.
