I doubt very much that it's your soundcard causing the issues. It's most likely your video card. Battlefield 2 has a very short list of supported video cards...

Since you live in Snellville, you can just come up to Siege LAN and play it here. Let me know you're from IA and I'll give you a free hour...

i upgraded my card to a card on the list specifically mentioned. i know its supported =\. it may not be the sound card causing the issue, but i do know that there is a known issue with the soundblaster card (which i have). i also swapped it out with a generic card, which changed the problem somewhat, and that is where my suspicion comes from. i also have the version 1.02 patch already =\

if i can find the spare time, i may take you up on that offer though. =)
