I was out having a few drinks with Miguel, Christine, and Ronda after the meeting friday night. So we decided to go out and hang with a few of the ladies friends. While there I saw this Mercedes Bens that just jumped out to me. There were some older men leaning up against it and I went up to them and asked "IS THIS YOUR CAR?" they looked back at me with a little worried look as they answered "No....Y is it yours?" I didnt realize how I asked them about it...but it was like I was yelling at them as if it was mine....So we sat outside and then the owner finally came out... It is a 1979 diesel. It does not the original paint so there is one modThe rims matched the color of the car. But its most noticeable mod is its veggie oil fuel cell in the trunk...The owner is a musician and plays at bars and restaurants around the state and after he is done playing at nights he pulls around the back and fills up the car.....I thought this was pretty sweet, I have heard of the kits and of some ppl that have done this but never seen it in person....
He said he paid $1500 for the basic kit and then added a big filer to be able to take the oil straight from the friers rather than filter it else were....He asked me if I had any friends with a diesel car/truck...said yes...he gave me his car and said if I shot him an email he could forward the info of some sites and forums about the fuel cell
