This has never been used, the problem is that, it is made for the higher end SLR cameras because of the style plug (N3) it comes with. I had an XSI when I got this (which takes an audio jack style plug for a remote) so what I did was I bought the remote, cut off the plug and attached the audio plug. What this means is that if you have a Rebel-type camera, you buy this and move on with your life...if you have the larger body camera, you just need to cut the audio plug off and add the N3 style plug back on.
