    Default Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AF-D, a.k.a. The Nifty Fifty

    Upgrading to a different lens so I dont think I need this anymore. I dont really need or want to sell this, but I could use the $$$ more at this point. $100 FIRM, That means DO NOT offer me $99.99 for it because I wont take it. Simple as that

    Don't get me wrong, I use it all the time, but I came across a deal on a 50 1.4 and I'm gonna pick up a 35 1.8 DX. But I always like having more glass

    very interested in getting this for my D60. Will this be good for night shots since it's an f/1.8? I'm such a noob. BTW what is this nikon squad? do you have to be a pro to join?

    It's great on the D40 and 60. That's what I bought it for. Only thing is you'll have to focus it yourself. 1.8 is how wide the aperture opens up so you can shoot with a little faster shutter speed that you would normally use. Alot of journalists keep this same lens with them

    And as long as you have a nikon you can join the squad, as long as your not someone who buys it cause it's cool to buy it, then never uses it again ever

    I love my d60 man! I use it all the time for family pics and auto meets. Sign me up for the nikon squad!
