so with it being modded what happens if it gets the red rings?

when mine got the rings after i modded it i was told to turn my xbox on without the av cables hooked up, the plug them back in then switch the switch from tv to hd, unplug again switch it back to tv plug back in then restart the xbox. my not work for all of the but worked for mine. but just in case go to consolesource.com and they sale a red rings repair kit for 14.99

i still dont read anywhere how this is modded. does it have the firmware to play burnt games?
