The inner and outter diameter is the same, but EG is a taller spring. You would have to cut it to make it fit, or if it was a really low spring type you may get it to work. It just may not drop it as much as you think.

The spring rates are different, the EG front springs are longer than the EFs and they just stright up will not work (correctly that is).

Now if you are trying to use EG coilovers (sleeve kit only) on EF suspension then that will work. It wil l be a stiffer spring rate

The reason I want to know is because I have factory EG springs on my car. The ones on there are cut shorter than any aftermarket EG spring. I hear/read that EF springs are shorter than EG springs from the factory. I want to know how much shorter they are. If anyone has access to uninstalled EF springs that they can measure, that would be great. And if EF springs fit on EG cars or vice versa, and they are shorter than EG, I may be able to work with the EFs instead. Later, QD.
