Default New to the EJ-EG World

Hey Guys I am a Member of the EF Squad but I just sold My '91 Hatch to a good Friend and I was going to build My '02 Civic EX BUT!!! it's OBD2 and it has a d17a2 and We all know what that means NO POWER!!!

And I am NOT going to spend a Ass load of Cash just to get Her to run and handle good SOOOOO!!!

I was thinking of buying a EJ-EG Hatch or 4DR.
I've never had a EJ-EG before and I think if would be nice to try something new and
I'm not real sure if I want another Hatch or to build My first 4DR I'm not against a 2DR but I just Love Hatches and like I said I've never done a Sedan.

I what to do a LS swap w/ USDM B16 pistons to get 11.1.1 Compression out of it with just I/H/E and build the $hit out of the Suspension for AutoCross/DD.

So I guess this Thread is to ask You Guys what Y'all think seeing that Your the Experts and to see if You Guys don't mind posting some Photos of 4DR's and Hatches and Coupes all so.

Well Thanks VERY MUCH for Your times Guys and talk to You soon.

    Spoon91.

Oh and Reps for all of You who can help in any way Thanks.

I love my 4 door but I will say that it is hard to find things for it sometimes. It is the most random crap too like corner lights. 2dr and hatch share front ends and 2 and 4 dr share rear ends. Suspension is all the same, but EX has many more suspension components specifically for it. Brakes are a big deal in the GJ squad. I have spent a lot of time (not really money) upgrading to EX and Integra brake components. IDK- there are alot of quarks- but invest in EX if you get the 4 dr.
