Its located where ur thermo stat houseing is. It looks like a plug in where the pigtail connects..

The temp switch is on the back of a D-series, behind the Diz, to the left bottom side of the intake, where the radiator hose goes into the head. There is a plug that attaches to the fitting the hose slides on. Make sure that is connected well. If it is bad, you won't know. Also, inside your fusebox under the hood, there is a solenoid that can go bad too... you can test for the solenoid by bypassing it with a piece of wire stuck in its place. If the solenoid is bad, the fan will come on. If the temp sensor is bad, it wont. Idk if you can test temp sensor by using a wire to complete the circuit in the temp switch plug... but that might work to single out the temp sensor too. wow what a nice day. I'm cleaning my damn garage and it sucks. I rolled my crx out of my garage and there was a nice puddle of oil under her. Got to get her up on some jack stands a find the leak...:no:

Damn mike... that sucks. We're breakin down round this bitch lol... BTW if you had to make a rough guess, Time/cost to fix my bottom end? I bolted the top on but never done a bottom... nothing upgraded just stock and keep/reuse everything I can cept the rings n bearings... Idk if I'm gonna keep her or trade her in... dont want to but I dont have the tools and knows-hows to do the bottom... or the $. Got my haynes manual buuuuut...

depends on if your piston walls are in good shape. The cylinder walls will need to me honed out.

bearings will be around $60 rings are around $40 you can rent the hone from a auto parts store.
You'll need a torque wrench and the haynes manual will have all the torque specs and prosidures to rebuild it.

In fact I'm going to be doing rings in my d15b7 block tonight or this weekend. Then I'm going to pull my z6 out and put the z6 head, intake and turbo on the d15 to keep my car running. While I beat that motor I'm going to rebuild my y7 block with forged internals(hopefully I can use the parts from my z6). Then boost the hell out of the y7.

Just for the hell of it I may take the d15b7 to commerce and run it hard on the strip at 10-15psi to see what it will do. LOL

Damn damn damn... Naw I'm tradin her in. Wish I had a dookie engine to drop in and keep my mini-me, but my old man told me find a honda still under warranty for my car+10k a little while ago, so I'm car shopping till monday, then I buy. I cant fooking pass that shit up... no way. Need suggestions ppl, must be 07-08 honda civic, still under warranty, 5spd, si if I can get it. Point me in the right direction fellas:goodjob:

U can run a direct connection to ur piglail. like bridgeing. if it works (will stay on) then its the temp switch, if not then u might need a new fan. or could just be a fuse...
