Lol, it is the truth. I am so lucky I have a job. It is so crazy right now and I feel bad for the families that do not have anything. I am blessed. I mean look at the man who killed his whole family and then himself because him and his wife lost there jobs. Sad story.

A guy calls in wanting to stop the draft for his life insurance premiums because the account doesn't have the funds available. We have to have 5-7 business days notice prior to there draft date in order to stop a draft. His draft is due to come out on 3/5/2009. He is calling today to stop it and no prior phone history of him requesting to stop the draft. Well I tell him the 5-7 business days notice and what not and that he can contact the bank to see about doing a stop payment. He said I called my bank and they told me to call you guys. Well I told him again that it is to late to stop the draft for this month and that we can stop it for future months so that he will receive a bill in the mail. He was mad and said to just cancel the policy since we can't stop the draft, then he proceeded to say well you guys can take your policy and shove it.......he didn't finish the statement but I know what he was going to say, then he says have a nice day and hung up.

Okay, another call I got today.
An old man in his 60's calls, saying he wanted to know how much is premiums would be when his policy renews in 2013..I told him we are not licensed so he would need to contact his agent in order to find out a quote. He says my agent told me to call you. I explained to him that the agents take classes to become licensed and again that we do not and aren't licensed. He was mad and felt he was getting the run around so he was like how do I make a complaint. I was like you can send a letter signed, dated with your policy # attn: poa. He was like I don't want to send a letter, I was like well they aren't a phone unit so they handle incoming complaint requests in the form of a letter. He was like it was nice doing run around business with you and hung up.

Another call I got today..
A lady calls saying she sent a letter to cancel 3 policies that she is the owner of. One of the policy #'s she included was a policy she already cancelled in 2005. She was like NOOOOOO I put all 3 numbers in the letter and I am looking at my letter I sent right now. So I gave her the policy # to the policy that wasn't cancelled because she didn't include it in her letter and I asked her if she seen it in her letter because I was looking at her letter and I didn't see that number listed. She was like so what are you saying? I was like that there is still an active policy and a draft was due to come out yesterday 3/2/09. She was like NOOOO my draft date was the 6th. I was like I am looking right at the system and it says the 2nd. I was like it is to late for us to stop that draft since it was already supposed to occured and I was like we can cancel this policy over the phone today for you. She was like YES CANCEL IT RIGHT NOW! AND I SENT IN THE LETTER TO STOP THE DRAFT WITHIN ENOUGH TIME..I was like yes for the policy #s that were active that were in your letter but not for this policy because it wasn't included.
