Wow what a seriously unproductive day. All I got done today was replaced both the axle seals and the shifter shaft seal on my friends si transmission.
I also bought a new breaker bar and got my crank pulley off and pulled out the crank shaft. Finished striping it. Cleaned and degreased the motor so I can lay some fresh olive green and satin black paint on the block, head, and valve cover.
Also bought one of these so I can spec the bearing serfaces and piston walls.
so lemme tell you guys/girls about my morning!!!! and how fucking amazing it was.
left home around 930 ish....headed down to loganville (hwy 78) trying to go get an oil change for free from tires plus...cant find the place so im back and forth cuz my gps says im close but i cant see it from the road... so i take off from a light and a cop pulls out behind me, (not caring) i signal and go 2 lanes to the right to exit the roadway and see if i can see where Tires Plus is. followed by the same cop i pull into chillis...i park in chillis and he drives off. and goes across the street and watches me...i sit there for a minute looking around still...no tires plus.. i go back the way i came then turned and head back the opposite way again to try one last time to find it.. i sit at a light and across the street from me are two cops waitin behind each other at the light, (windows down)...i take off (slowly) DUH! and me and the cops make eye contact as i drove by for about 5 seconds...i go down the road where it said tires plus was and i hear sirens coming from the direction i was just coming from.
so at that point im lik...its about time, i figured i was gonna get pulled over...then i see the cop cars coming in full force and the car behind me pulls over and i pulled over and the cop pulls behind me. so at this point there are about 3 cop cruisers around the civic... and im like uhhmm wtf did i do lol.. sooo Mr.Douchebag walks up, and asks for my license and asks for me to step out the car..i step out and he asks me sir is there anything illegal/contraband in the car i should know about... im like nah...i dont do that shit..
then he asks what im doing in loganville if i live in lawrenceville...(im like im getting an oil change, hint the reason i am trying to find tires plus... and then he walks around my car checking my tire tread... and says y r u going to tires plus, whats wrong with the tires, im like nothing, i never said anything was wrong with them, im going to get my free oil change...then he starts just naming shit to try and get me in trouble...

me - (sir you see that corvette at that light, thats lower than my civic, go talk to him about low suspensions.. (sarcastically)

I got pulled over in gainesville a while back and he said I failed to signal a lane change that I didn't make. He then asked me if I had anything in the car and I said no. They he asked do you mind if I look? I said sure. I then stood in the rain at 11 at night while he looked threw my personal property. once he finished he told me to have a nice night and to drive safe. Finally after 10min of putting everything back in its spot I finally drove off.

when I was in high school I was a first responded for thw White county fire department. (volenter firefighter not aloud to have firefighter tag, lights and siren yet) I got pulled over going into hellen on a call. I was going a little fast not dangously fast and I had a hellen cop pull me over. I told him I was afirst responder and I was heading to a wreck. He just looked at me and asked for my lisens and insurance. I handed it to him and he walked off. I called the capten and he came acoss town and got onto the cop and the cop let me go and said he was sorry about that. I just looked at him and drove off. what a a$$hole.
