Default B16 engine in a civic si - emission questions

Ok, this is really a couple of questions in one thread.

I'm new to the whole b16 life.

I put my civic in the shop near where I live. He is one of those old time mechanics that can fix about anything or so I thought.

First words out of his mouth. I can't align that it is a lowered honda.

Well here is the info about the car and the issues I'm having.

    89 civic si with a b16.

Car has 254k on it motor has 40k on it.

I've just put this all together.

I had some vacuum issues at first but a buddy of mine came over and we figured out where I had a leak or opening so that was solved.

The engine is a b16 "obdo", running a pr3 ecu. Only extra is a random technolog y cat on it.

According to the mechanic it hits a wall at 25 mph and cant do anything. He suggested getting a hot rod title due to gray market swap in it.

Well I drove it home last night. I hit that wall of 25 mph, it was like the accelerat or pedal was sticking so released my foot of the pedal for about 1mm and began to push again and no wall. This only happened once.

I think this might be a sticking accelerat or cable. Did not happen all the time just once on a 10 mile trip.

I need to look at somebodie s vacuum hose connectio n that is running an obdo system with b16 and is doing emission to make sure I have that correct. Pictures are acceptabl e.

As far as the engine and car it ran flawless the rest of the way no issues. There is one but it is not worth typing about.

How do I emission this car with the current set up?

I know it can be done there are plenty of guys doing this set up.

I need to get it emissione d, ac recharge and possible alignment but I dont want to drive it to a shop and get told oh gray market engine etc.

I can work on my own car with ease. Just emissioni ng it and ac I have the issue.

I've spoke with bus driver J and he seems keen, only issue was car would have to go to different shops for different things. I dont have an issue with this just dont have time to do all the running around since I'm at work all the way in gwinnett.

Before I run it to that shop I just want to make sure of vacuum hose are all in the right place and fix the other thing.

Is there somebody local in woodstock that I can look at their car if it is the same set up so I can make sure mine is right. Also is there somewhere local in woodstock that can do these.

I have no tag or anything on this car right now. I want to get the car on the road, CRX does not have ac and I'm sick of the red light weight loss program.

    Thanks
    Richard

Na not yet been looking at other things.

My wife's car came due for a service so I have been doing that.

I looked at a couple of EF's out here near me and we all have the vacuum ran the same way.

I'm gonna try and take it to get emissioned soon. Just dont have the time lately to do nothing.
