lol, now, i speak from experience when i say this.... i've seen it happen over and over and over again.

the ratio of people who say they're comming to the people who actually come, is like 3 to 1, LOL.

If 10 people say they're comming, then 3 will show up. it's the nature of the meets i guess

Oh trust me i understand. I typically drive up during the weekends just to tag along with groups LOL. I got in with a group from vwvortex several weeks back. Its almost not worth trying to organize a group unless its close friends.

i mean, thats generally what happends with these runs. the same group of guys all come out, i just throw up a thread incase any new people want to come and chill and tag along.

i know there's usually about 5 of the same people who always go, and if that's all that shows up, then thats fine with me

smaller runs are always better anyway

Actually, yes. IA's apparent requirements for a race car:

#1) stickers with a number.
#2) lowering springs
#3) roll bar (or just tint your windows so nobody can tell)

So yes you could easily be race car status.
