Theres definitely alot of bullshit flying around in this thread. Ive never been on a mountain run with you, evasive. Infact the only time ive ever talked to you was at zaxby's once. Im 100% confident i could have easily out driven you in the mountains based on what you were driving that day. You want to talk about experience.. I've lived in Dahlonega for 11+ years now, learned to drive in the mountains and drove the roads these runs are on since i was 16.

Plus you guys are comparing a STS prepped car to a boosted EF with stock suspension.. who has stock suspension? No sense in trying to compare apples to oranges in an effort to skew things in your favor. My car weighed in at a little over 2200 lbs last time i weighed it.

No, I'm not saying I have...just saying that just because you live there doesn't mean you can drive it better. You've got a one-up, but it doesn't mean you can drive better. Finally, your comparison of cars. It wasn't so much a comparison of the cars as it was a comparison of experience vs. power that came into play when we admitted that, even on stock suspension, Bryan is a great driver.

Don't be deferred by the bullshit talk we do here on IA. When the squad runs up there (at least when I was in charge) all of the bullshit and competition stopped at the base. It wasn't meant for competition. It was for fun. It always has been. And that's how I hope everyone keeps it.

We don't even really push ourselves up there, not even close to the limit. If anything, where running 6/10ths. Its all about getting together and having a good time.

and no, it's never a competition in the mountains. you and brad have both been on runs with the squad and it's never an all out race to see who's the biggest, baddest mountin runner

all i was saying was that bryan was an awesome driver with his stock car, and was simply stating to another poster on here that adding suspension upgrades to your car does not make you any more experienced and therefor any better in the mountains. LOL thats what sparked this entire convo, which spiraled out of control.

My argument was bringing into play the experience factor. Yes, if you both have the exact skill and setup, the one with more power will outrun. But if you have different cars, and the slower driver is more experienced...my money's on the slower car...
