Quite honestly i don't care to get into a spec vs. spec pissing match but it will suffice to say its fairly similiar setup but not identical. I currently run bfg g-forces which arent the greatest tire but i drive the car to work alot and don't have a second set of tires. They are plenty sticky for semi-daily/spirited driving. I could easily get a set of victoracers or something but i don't have a need to be competitive.
Pretty much the only time i have traction problems in the mountains is powering out of turns, but thats if i exit full throttle every time, i've driven the roads and car enough to easily modulate the gas to where i can still exit quickly and stay in plenty of power.
I'd say that was a good run with the ITR, however you've gotta keep in mind thats basically a 15 second car battle.
But to try and make the point that being boosted only is a hinderance doesn't make much sense.
