Default hatch hitting the streets next week

i finally have my hatch where i want it, bay is painted/tucked, motor is in, finishing up cantilever rear suspension, paint come spring, mods are as follows.

    91 dx hatch
    obd1 conversion
    d16y7
    78mm sleeves
JE 9:5:1 pistons w/ ceramic coating
    arp 2000 rod bolts
    arp head studs
    rc750cc pl4 injectors
    modified intake mani, z6
modified z6 rail (will support 600hp)
    z6 head w/work
    comeitc head gasket
    eagle h beam rods
    acl bearings all around
    redline oil filter relocation
    battery relocation

have to make my mind up this week, i have everything to do both spray/boost, either throwing my garrett (powerstroke) turbo on and all of my synapse engineering goodies or going to use my pro race fogger direct port kit (it will be hidden) and spray 250 on it, will be tuned with s300 compliments of the guys from hondata,
motor top to bottom is BRAND NEW i have over 1200$ worth of reciepts from honda (and i still get my employee discount)
taking opinions from peeps on boost vs spray
ED from balanced has put in his ...whats yours?

nah, if i boost it maybe like a 50 shot to spool up quick but that would be it

I say boost it. If that doesn't work out you can always do some work and go sprayed. You should hook me up with that Honda discount.

Your compression ratio tells me that you either have the wrong turbo, or you will need a pretty healthy shot of gas. In your situation I'd spray around a 100 hp shot until you get the proper sized turbo.

from what i understand nitrous loves high compression motors. yours isnt. not that its a bad thing, but i think you can make more power, reliably, with a large turbo. and an occasional nitrous shot for track spoolage.

Boost it but not with that retarded ass turbo you have (if it's the same one from a while back). Otherwise you'd be wasting every bit of money spent on that motor! A 250 shot is ridiculous and will be catastrophic in the end and you know it!

^psssh ho peaz! no the turbo i had was a gt42R that would not spool on that built h22 until like 4k, the one i have now is OEM replacement for a powerstroke 7.3L which is perfect for 400-500whp on a d series

and yes nitrous is MUCH more effective on higher compression motors, so if i spray 225 i might get 150whp with my comp ratio, but if it were like 12:1 it would go up 30hp or so but having low comp gives me some wiggle room in case shit happens, nitrous is by no means perfect, bottle temp/pressure/level are just a few factors, it's safer to run a lower compression ratio but not as benifical in means of horsepower.

let me know rev, just lmk what you need and you can pick it up from me when u i come down to the V meet's
