If you do it right, you've got millions of miles. You don' know what the motor's been through prior to your ownership. I rebuilt mine and put it through absolute abuse. Drove it across the country. I'd got 7 or 8K miles before changing oil, I'd let the engine run hot, I let it run low as hell on oil. My motor was abused because I wanted to see what it would take. I know it was built right. And to date, it's still running perfectly fine for the guy I sold it to. I could trust it. A swap? 50/50.
