r u asking me. if so i have a bolt-in 6pt. rollcage that is Tig welded into 3 sections and uses sleaves to bolt them together.

mainstream is not a cheap a jay makes it sound. i asked them wat they would charge me to do a weld-in 6pt. with door bars thats SCCA/NASA certified. they told me $2,600. which is not that bad... it's a little high but not too bad.

i called this place in marrietta that specializes in buiding rollcages for SCCA/NASA, they quoted me $1,800 for labor & $300 for materials out the door. for the same style cage. im not bashing mainstream cuz i've seen Turbo Daves work in-person and it's great craftsmanship, but im just letting u know there are better deals out there.

if ur not going to be compeating in drag or road racing i would suggest u get the cusco bolt-in cage if ur just going for looks. but it's not the best cage for safty purposes. the bolt-in i have was build for competition and safty by the pervious owner and his dad who has been a metal fabricator for over 35+ years.

An improperly designed/installed cage is more dangerous than not having one.. dont risk your life over trying to look cool. Id much rather have the satisfaction of knowing that a cage in my car would actually protect me in a rollover.
