Anyone else have the original key?:
I have had my fair share of 88-91's.I usually tend to buy a non-molested [EF] from the original owner.But not everytime do I get "the key" how many of you actually have gotten the key w/their purchase of a 88-91 civic/crx?.
Here is mine: [I have a good 6-7 of these stashed from some of my cars.]
Of course, I still have the original key to my CRX. I'm not the original person that 1st purchased it back in 1990 but I bet it probably is the original key though.
Sold mine, but still have the original key for keepsake.

Well I guess it is 50/50.I did get a new cam but then again I wanted to know if anyone else held onto their original key/s.

You can go to Honda for the retro key like in my first post.You will not get the 4# code on it though.What do you do to get an OEM key made? Just go to the dealer and ask? Whats the price?

As far as the second key I posted that is from an accord or Integra can not remember but cut for my chassis @ Honda.
You are getting there I have maybe 3-4 that are NOT for a Honda.But I have a good 23-24 Honda/Acura title copies and a fresh cut key for each owned.Yeah sorry I got a little carried away when I was younger.hahahahhaa
I have the one for my 88 Hatch, the 91 hatch I had, found the one for my 90 CRX, and still have the one from my 96 coupelol
Im ready to upgrade to a newer chassis hahaa.Maybe a cb accord or Ba prelude.
I didnt have the original key so I bought the little key shit from pepboys and it didnt fit.So After I had took it out somone told me ,You know you could have went to Honda and they couldnt have made one.I was like wtf Owell I just said forget it and went to Honda to get a new one.

I have the original valet key. lol. don't know where the og square key is. So if my trunk latch breaks i'll be screwed till i get a key made heh
