It all started because Doug got a new shell for a potentially new TopSpeed race car. Since I have the weakest 4 wheeled vehicle to EVER dyno at TopSpeed, I get sooo much shit about it. But my saving grace was that it weighed in at 2200 lbs with everything.

His new shell runs and he had to dyno it to prove it had more power. Its another 95 Subaru impreza Brighton. It ended up making about 95hp. So I had to make a comment about mine weighing so little. His car included eng, trans, front bumper beam, drivers seat, dash, doors and 4 tires. No bumpers, lights, trunk lid, all gone. I told him if his was under 2000 I would get mine under that as well. My luck, 1995LBS!!!!

So after finishing my only appointment at like 12 I tore into it. Removed a/c (only thing left is evap!!), battery, intake, put steelies back on, stripped interior rearward of b pillar, pass seat, glove box, center console, coolant resevoir, center taillight garnish, spoiler, washer fluid tank, installed pass mirror delete, and wanked a few other random things. I cheated a little but ended getting mine down to 1989!!! ((91 DX Auto with power steering))

I accomplished what I set out for even though I had to put about 100 lbs of stuff back in. By then he had another 100 lbs out of his but mine was still street legal (sorta).

Then I cut the shit out of my springs, told ya I was bored. Still not where I want it but thats what the coilovers will be for
