Hey just figure I'd make a "odd" thread

I'll start.

It was early December 2001 I had been wanting a 88-91 crx so bad.I finally picked up a Auto-trader from my local gas station after school and noticed a 1989 crx dx for $300 obo.It was located right above Atlanta and I being about 3 1/2 hours away still wanted it.
For 2 weeks I helped a friends mother out by tearing apart her brick patio for some money after school and sold one of my Fender acoustic/elec guitars.I finally had enough money a pal and I took the trip with his father up there and we took a trailor just in case.The seller must have forgot to mention on the phone and in the ad it had been sitting for over a year and had been SALVAGED from a rear end collision.So we talked him down to $200 cash and it was not the cleanest car and only needed a fuel pump and ran like a champ.We also bought a 1991 civic dx hatch shell and swapped the engine into it along with most interior items and sold the shell to the junkyard and parts locally.
I had gotten my money back and had me a running EF started as a crx dx but had to move over to the hatch's.The bad thing about it was the car was in the middle of a horse field and had dead mice in it and horse hair all over it and alittle bit of poop* hahaahahhaaa!.

Either way that is my odd story thought I got jacked but turned out being worth the trip anyways I loved that little hatcha.


Anyone else have some crazy stories?.
