well, almost to the point of dropping motor and trans back in. has been a fun project so far, about 3 hrs off and on to get the crank pulley bolt off. but its all good now, need a damn alignment tool for clutch and i cant find mine for anything! anyhow hopefully by tuesday i will be able to start it up. its at the shop i work at in lilburn and sucks i dont have keys to the shop! or else i could have it done on sunday and working on it during my lunches just isnt enough. soon though soon it will be back on the road.
another small point i just wanted to bring up that i was thinking about last night....
i asked several times if anyone even on this board (entire IA) if anyone had a simple d series block that i could buy and no one even tried to send me a pm or anything...since saying on here i had my hands on a Z6 block, i have recieved several pm's and even phone calls asking do i want to trade it to someone for a B2 or A6 block...this is my question, where the hell was everyone at when i wanted to BUY one from someone? i didnt get not one reply, pm or anything about a block UNTIL i mention that yeah i now have a Z6 block......? i think that is rude for one and i dont see that as helping fellow members or enthusiasts for that matter! personally, i dont turn my head when ppl need help, i dont walk away when someone is in need! if there is a way i can help i do! i usually wont ask what am i getting in return cause i know that one day maybe even in a different situation, the favor will be returned or someone will help me out with something that isnt even related to another incident. food for thought!
oh and btw, now that i have had like 12 ppl hit me up on this block, im gonna keep it! yall are just showing me that in the long run its something worth working with and that i already know where im going with it. im not trying to ruffle feathers but i had to get that off my chest....the whole situation is something that would happen on importlounge cause those ppl dont help shit unless your in the clique
