    Default ECU PINS!

    can someone pleaseee explain to me how to remove the wires from the ecu plugs...i know this been covered a lot of times but i cant find a good write up anywhere.

    its easy. i did it before. you first have to open the back side by pushing it with a flat head from the middle and push it upward. it will swing open. Then from there you can pull it out easily.

    The pins wont come out if you dont get the thing to swing open first. I tried it and it did not come out. after 30 min of messing with it i finally got how it works and from there it was easy to pull them out. Just keep on messing with them untill it flips open.

    man i just ended up cutting the wires. it works good so far.

    (not trying to be a jacka**) but why would you cut wires that can easily just be de-pinned?.Just make sure to solder them and not twist them together in electrical tape.

    trust me, i didnt twiste them and taped them together.
