ok, im doing an ls vtec swap on my 91 HF
i ordered the hasport vtec subharness, that comes with wires and plugs for the vtec solenoid, knock sensor, 2nd o2 sensor and i think oil pressure

unless you got a jumper harness from hasport you are going to need to repin your ecu call up hasport and tell them what car, motor etc and they should be able to help you out if you decide to go the cheapr route and re pin your ecu go to walmart and get a hook and pin kit should be around 7 bucks you will need this to pull out the pins on your ecu and move them to new locations
thanks man, ran into an even bigger problem today, i decided to start the car without the vtec and **** hooked up
car started, but all of my oil came out as soon as it cranked
WTF, everything is on right.
any ideas??
how did you do the ls/vtec conversion?!?
i bought the golden eagle ls vtec kit, it was nightime and i didnt really **** wit it to see where it was coming from, but i had my friend start the car and i put my hand under the sandwich plate and my hand go soaked with fresh ass oil
i have the ls vtec line on, preety sure all of it is coming from the sandwich plate, heard is a ***** to get the plate to sit on right for the seal, so ima get some rtv and put it on there so it can stick while i tighten the bolt
mine sits on perfect.... before you hook up vtec i suggest you go like me and run it without it until you brake the moter in. if you are anyhting like me then i know you would be bound to hit that nasty vtac more than you need to
all oil problems fixed now, i forgot to tap and plug up the head lol
but yea, i have the hasport jumper harness, now i just need to know how to take out the old wires from the ecu plug.

What internals did you use with your build?
stock ls pistons and rods. arp rod bolts, mains, head studs.
dont plan on revving it hard, i know they f up preety quick.
Don't upgrade your cams with those pistons, unless you want the valves to touch that is. The valve reliefs on the LS pistons are smaller than the VTEC valves.
You don't really have to worry about revs (up to 8 or 9 anyway) as long as you're using upgraded rod bolts and the bottom end isn't way out of balance or anything.
Thank you for your sharing~
