Well, I mean, really, HT is a bigger organization than we ever anticipate to be. Why ask us when you could be asking them?

Our cars are honestly just more commonly known as EFs...as the same goes for EG's, and EK's. So...that being said, why not just go by "EF". In addition, as you're probably well aware, our cars are known as EF's over in Japan, which is the origination of the chassis by Honda. Most people tend to go with "hometown names." For example, how many GA bulldog fans do you know that never attended UGA? It's also not too common you see people changing the EF front end to an ED...rather, the other way around.

It's just more commonly known, and makes more sense to call them ED's instead of EF's. They're the same car, so why should we differentiate EF and ED. Only one name can be chosen...it's just become more common over time to dub it the EF.

Hope that makes sense. There's just too many reasons to call it an EF vs. calling it an ED because honestly, as we all know through common sense, that's what MOST of our cars really are...

Happy motoring!
