i just need something i can drop and go for now, i have a top end from an a6 but needs maching and i dont think i have the time to save and wait for machine shop, the little b.itch scared me last night coming up 985, bucked real hard like it was locked up for a half a second(literally) but did good on the way home just had that one issue, hasnt done it since though. plus the wiring and getting a new ecu i mean if i had the time and funds right now, for sure, i would do it but i get paid WEAKLY (not mispelled) and times are tight and diapers arent going down in price! im ready to say the hell with it and take my chances at pull a part and just go snag a motor from there and cross my fingers....Originally Posted by sakasaku
im actually almost sure that its a valve seal and thats what the leak is, could probably use just a head (still running dpfi) if anyone has just a head lying around but then i will know if it is the head for sure...havent done compression/leakdown lately, i just keep shoving oil in it and praying eveytime i start it to go somewhere. and sorry didnt mean to get off topic of thread...
