totally agree with green on this keep the groups small its only a one lane road anyway so there is no need to go fast i did this run in my stock motor and had a damn good time speed is not the object its more of a fun way to drive your car i think all the ill be there im coming will pan out and we will be left with the "usual suspects" so need to worry alan

I HIGHLIGHTED FAST BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO THINK CUZ THERE CAR IS TURBO'D OR HAS A BUILD B18 OR WATEVR, THEY THINK THEY WILL AUTOMATATICLY BE IN THE FAST GROUP. IF U DO THINK THAT WAY U ARE SADLY MISTAKEN. LAST TIME WE WENT WE HAD PEOPLE THAT WERE TRAVELING CLOSE TO THE FRONT OF THE PACK, BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THEY COULD KEEP UP. BY THE END OF THE DAY THEY WERE IN THE BACK, SO IF U ARE PLACED IN A CERTAIN GROUP DONT B1TCH ABOUT IT JUST PROVE THAT U CAN RUN WIT A FASTER PACK THEN THE 1 U WERE WIT.thats defiantly a bad thing brad.
i say we have 2 separate groups, atleast. maybe even 3. cruise, intermediate, and fast.
if you've never been, stick with the first pack, and then jump up a pack as you see fitting.
just an idea, but i think all of the mountain vet's know that this run wolnt work with this many people
THE FAST GROUP NEEDS TO CONSIST OF 3 THINGS.
1. U HAVE KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE OF THE MOUNTAIN WE WILL BE ON.
2. U ARE NOT A DUMB A$$ THAT IS GOING TO BE DOING STUPID SH1T
3. HAVE THE RIGHT SUSPENSION, TIRES IN GOOD CONDITION, AND U WILL BE RUNNING FAST BUT SAFE PACE.

Perfect example. Our "grand old man of the squad" ran stock motor. He could run right beside me on one of my worser days without a problem. I've see other cars, such as highly modded turbo'd VW's stick to the rear of the pack due to the intelligence they had to realize they weren't ready for the front. It's not about the car. It's baout the driver. And even if you think you're good...you're probably not. I'm highly respected in my skills...yet I still think I can do better with more practice. I won't by any means claim to be "good"

no but u are in it already just cuz u and brad can take a run any day of the week, so that gives u the experience. + i rode behinde u in the last run, i know u will be running up front.
i actually think u should lead a group, brad lead a group, and possibly me lead a group. im not too shure if i want to thoug since i cant remember all the roads sometimes.

Ok Master Roshi, but yeah I don't care what group I'm in. I'm still new with this mountain run thing so slow-medium group is fine with me. BTW you should come to the ATL Dragway race night, I'll place you in the slow groupright after BigDare & Uproot.

i'm honestly wondering how we're gonna have an organized mountain run with this many people... seriously.
ik it's the nature of meets for people to say they're gonna come, and then atleast half o them dont show up, but still... 10-15 is about the most ive seen on a mountain run, and @ that it was alot.
